Fabio Ruotolo Fabio Ruotolo, cartoonist and illustrator, made his debut with volumes 7 and 8 of Massimiliano Frezzato's I Custodi del Maser saga. Since then, he has worked on comics and illustrated books for various Italian publishers. For several years, he has been actively collaborating with the foreign market, particularly the Franco-Belgian market, and has numerous short stories to his credit for magazines such as "Heavy Metal", "Journal Spirou" and "Mètal Hurlant".
