Luca Conca Luca Conca was born in 1974. He graduated in painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in 1998. He alternates between solo and group exhibitions, including Il velo dipinto (The Painted Veil) in 2016 and participation in the regional exhibitions of the Venice Biennale in 2011, but he has not forgotten comics, his first passion. He returned to drawing in 2011 with Il ritratto, published by Passenger Press and in 2019 with Il migliore amico dell’uomo, with a script by Gloria Ciapponi. In 2021, he published the graphic novel URLO – Nel buio with a script by Gloria Ciapponi with SaldaPress, also published in Portugal by Escorpiao Azul. In 2022, the second volume of the series, URLO – Progenie, also published under the SaldaPress imprint, will be published. He is currently working on a volume for La Boite à Bulles publishing house which will be published in 2024. Lives and works in Morbegno (SO)
