Shannice Alogaga
Shannice Alogaga is an Afro-Italian artist and illustrator born in 1994. She attended the Florence Comics School and, after graduating with five other classmates, founded the collective Bandabendata in 2020, producing the anthologies Sunday Summer Stories and Wednesday Winter Worries. She publishes with various collectives and independent publishing houses, such as Diamond Dog and Attaccapanni Press. In 2022, she produced a horror and western novel for Leviathan Labs, and in April of this year, her first graphic novel, “Alice Walker,” written by Mariapaola Pesce, will be released for Beccogiallo. In terms of technique, she works primarily in the traditional manner with gouache and colored pencils.
