Daniele Magrì
Daniele Magrì, known artistically as Da Hosoi, was born in Milan in 1985. Driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling, Japanese culture, and manga, he achieved international recognition in 2017 by placing third in the Silent Manga Audition, a prestigious competition organized by the Japanese publisher Coamix. Following his success at the Kumamoto International Manga Festival, he was selected in 2018 for the Coamix "Masterclass" program alongside artists from around the world. During his time in Japan, he participated in specialized workshops led by legendary industry professionals, including Tetsuo Hara (Fist of the North Star), Tsukasa Hōjō (City Hunter, Cat’s Eye), and Nobuhiko Horie (former editor-in-chief of Weekly Shonen Jump). Since 2022, he has been the author of the manga series Diablomachia, originally published by the French house Glénat Manga and brought to the Italian market in 2024 by Star Comics.
