Daniele Magrì
Daniele Magrì, known professionally as Da Hosoi, was born in Milano in 1985. Driven by a lifelong passion for storytelling, Japanese culture, and manga, he achieved third place in the international Silent Manga Audition organized by Japanese publisher Coamix in 2017. Following his recognition at the Kumamoto International Manga Festival, he joined the Coamix Masterclass program in 2018 alongside international creators. During his time in Japan, he participated in workshops led by legendary industry figures including Tetsuo Hara (Hokuto no Ken), Tsukasa Hojo (City Hunter, Cat's Eye), and Nobuhiko Horie (former Editor-in-Chief of Weekly Shonen Jump). In 2022, he launched his fantasy-action shonen series Diablomachia, published by Glénat Manga in France, Star Comics in Italy, and Nakama Press in the United States. Beginning in 2025, he joined Disney Publishing Worldwide as the artist for the manga Stitch in Time.
