French Carlomagno
French Carlomagno was born in Turin in 1986. He studied illustration at IED and began his career working both as an illustrator and as a visualizer and storyboard artist at Armando Testa. In 2015, together with Jacopo Paliaga, he created the webcomic Aqualung. The following year, again with Paliaga, he published his first graphic novel, Come quando eravamo piccoli, with BAO Publishing. He currently collaborates with several American publishers, including BOOM! Studios, IDW, Dark Horse, and DC Comics, and in 2023 he co-created the series The Dead Lucky with Melissa Flores for Image Comics. He is currently working on the second volume of the original series Rita Perdido with writer Victor Dixen for the French publisher Bayard. Since 2020, he has also been teaching at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Turin.
