Emmanuele Baccinelli
Born in Casale Monferrato in 1988, Emmanuele Baccinelli graduated from the Liceo Artistico in Vercelli. After completing a specialized course in comics, he began working as a cartoonist and illustrator with Daniele Statella’s Studio Creative Comics and other publishing entities.
In 2014, he won the competition for new artists organized by Disney/Panini, marking the start of his collaboration as a penciler for Topolino Magazine and other Disney titles. He has created covers for the Disney Legendary Collection, the new Almanacco Topolino, and various other Disney publications. Furthermore, he collaborates with Disney Global on several stories and contributes covers and illustrations to French Disney magazines such as Mickey Parade Géant, Picsou Magazine, and Le Journal de Mickey.
His work has received prestigious industry recognition: in 2019, he was awarded the Albertarelli Prize for emerging cartoonists, and in 2023, he won the ANAFI Award for Best Cover Artist.
In addition to his creative work, he served as a professor of humor comics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Novara and has taught drawing for youth summer programs at the Gazzetta Summer Camp (now Experience Summer Camp).
