Giulia Rinaldo
Giulia Rinaldo has a lifelong passion for art, comics, design, and cinema. In 2017, following specialized training in visual storytelling with Mizue Kawaguchi at Tokyo Designer Gakuin and a pivotal meeting with Carlo Ambrosini and Enea Riboldi, she decided to turn her passion into a professional career. After studying at the Scuola del Fumetto in Milan, she earned several awards in national competitions, including first prize at the Premio Nuvolosa in 2021. A comic artist, illustrator, and designer for international clients such as Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Ferrero, Giulia is currently furthering her academic studies in Communication Design at the Politecnico di Milano and L’École de design Nantes Atlantique. In 2024, she published Where is Groot? for Dynamite Entertainment (via Arancia Studio), and she is currently collaborating with the American publisher Mad Cave Studios on an upcoming title. Additionally, she is the creator and artistic director of BAlloon, the Busto Arsizio Comic Festival, which she curates alongside Daniele Statella.
