Serena Meo
Serena Meo (born 1994) holds degrees in Comparative Literature (2019) and Cultural Promotion (2024). After completing her Master’s in Screenwriting at the International School of Comics in Florence in 2021, she began writing for several Italian publishers, including FutureFiction, Kleiner Flug, Round Robin, Leviathan Labs, and the Moleste collective. Since 2022, she has expanded into the French market, collaborating with prestigious labels such as Ankama and Métal Hurlant. An award-winning scriptwriter, her accolades include the Premio Nuvolosa and the Myllennium Award (2021), as well as the TacoContest (2022). She was a finalist at the Lucca Project Contest in 2021, and in 2022, one of her scripts ranked among the top ten in the "Una Lettura fra le Nuvole" competition organized by Corriere della Sera. In 2022, she co-founded the independent label Clinkers, where she serves as president and oversees the publication of numerous titles, contributing as both an editor and letterer.
