Simone Buonfantino
Simone Buonfantino, born in Palermo in 1987, made his professional debut with Disney on the series Real Life. In 2015, he was commissioned to develop the layouts for the graphic novel adaptation of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens. In 2016, he began a long-standing collaboration with Marvel, illustrating several prominent titles including Captain Marvel, Hulk vs. Thor, X-Men, and Black Widow. He expanded into the French market in 2021, illustrating a fantasy story for Soleil (Orcs & Goblins, Vol. 17). In 2022, he contributed as an artist for the digital card game Marvel Snap and worked on various issues of the Harley Quinn series, officially joining the DC Comics creative team. Since 2023, he has continued his work with Marvel and Disney (Ravensburger), contributing to Spider-Man Unlimited, Uncanny Spider-Man, and the trading card game Lorcana.
