Susanna Mariani
Susanna Mariani is a Rome-based comic artist. Her career as an illustrator includes collaborations with prominent publishing houses such as Il Castoro, BeccoGiallo Editore, Bugs Comics, and Mondadori, as well as contributions to European magazines like Are We Europe and Pismo. She has also expanded her expertise into the animation sector, working with Ilbe Animation. In addition to her freelance work, she is currently a professor of comic art, character design, and illustration at the International School of Comics in Rome. For several years, through the LaCOMICSkids initiative, she has balanced her professional artistic practice with teaching comics to children and teenagers—the primary audience for whom she enjoys creating stories.
